Yeah, it’s a stretch, I know. But it’s the end of the year and I am running out of silly titles!!
This week The TWD Bakers made…

…Devilish Shortcakes
A chocolate version of shortcakes. Good with almost anything!! I made 1/4 of the recipe (that 1/4 of 1 egg was FUN!! (abt 10gms by the way) and came out with three nice sized shortcakes. One with Strawberries and Cream.
One with…

…Vanilla Ice Cream and drizzles of warm caramel and chocolate ganache. Let the decadence begin!!!!
They were both GOOD!! AND I still have one left to play with!!!
Thank you, Tania (of Love Big, Bake Often) for adding another decadent dessert and 20 pounds to my girlish figure!!! And if you want to add another few extra pounds you can find the recipe on her blog. Or you could finally break down and purchase Dorie’s Baking from My Home to Yours. We are close to finishing (154 recipes done), but still have a few recipes to go. Come visit!!
NaBloPoMo Day 30. Yay – I did it. Well, except for the two days I was sick!! Next year!!!

This looks really good. I can’t decide which one I’d like a taste of (I guess I’d better try both)

They both look delicious. We actually liked the chocolate version of these shortcakes.

Both versions look terrific! Congrats on (almost) 30 days of posts, very impressive. I’m sure you will have plenty of silly titles for us in 2011.

A quarter of an egg – I’m impressed with your dedication. Shrinking recipes still makes me nervous. You did a beautiful job!

I knew you would find a way to send these over the top! And you did. They look very festive and nice. Just the thing for the holidays in my mind.

Wow, kudos on almost completing NaBloPoMo – that’s huge!
Your shortcakes look delicious! I let Shane eat all of mine and he just wanted ice cream, but I would have been all about the berries and whipped cream

Love the title!
That ice cream shortcake looks divine. I think I’m having ice cream withdrawls after not making any homemade for a while. Must. be. remedied.

Ooh, hard to say which one I like better! I hadn’t thought of adding caramel. Mmm.

Yum yum! I was so boring with mine. The math on 1/4 of the recipe must have been fun.
