If you like the flavor of Molasses, pecans, and raisins cranberries then you will really like these spicy bars from Nick’s the Modern Baker.
They are flavored with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves and nicely spicy. Since I am NOT a raisin fan I used dried cranberries and liked the result.

Recipe says to bake 20 – 25 minutes, but mine took 40 minutes. Just sayin’….

I was wondering how they’d be without the raisins….I wouldn’t mind them, but the kiddos wouldn’t touch them. Glad to know they were still yummy! And I agree, that natural light is lovely!

Not a raisin fan? How many times do people say “you don’t know what you’re missing!”? lol. I thought these were perfect with the raisins but I wouldn’t turn down one with cranberries. Yours look really good. Somehow I managed to miss the entire group bake session.
