This was just too good and too pretty to start out talking about it. Doesn’t a picture speak a thousand words? Listen to that tart – it’s poetry!!
-
Chocolate!
- Lemon!
- Orange!
- Perfect!
And all of it in a Cocoa crust.
The lemon and orange was definitely evident in this tart. Topped with whipped cream adding a little sweetness it was the perfect ending to the day.
This was Marthe’s Birthday pick (Happy Birthday, Marthe!) so I put it on the little plate she sent me last year.
Thanks, Marthe, good pick.
Tasty pick.
Tasty Chocolate Pick (Sorry, Kayte, chocolate again!!)

That looks great! I have loved all the chocolate tart recipes of Nick’s that I’ve tried so far.

Love your cute little tart! We thought this one was excellent, too…love the citrus flavors!

Boy oh boy, that is just a whole lot of chocolate. I’ve set out to make this any number of times and not been able to face the chocolate, this one might just have to wait until I can handle it…a whole lot of chocolate is not my thing. But then you knew that. Don’t tell Marthe, okay? Maybe she won’t notice that I didn’t make it.

That’s a very cute tart! I have never tried chocolate with lemon. I’m like Kayte, not a chocolate fanatic, but I would definitely try this for company.

I’ve definitely combined chocolate with orange before, but never lemon. I’m intrigued! Your mini tarts are adorable, Margaret.

Wow! This tart looks just beautiful. I’m trying to imagine those flavors together, and I think I’ll just have to try it for myself to be sure!
