Some started in childhood
packed away

This has been a good year. We have lots of photos to prove it. It was hard to find ONE favorite so I narrowed it down to 3.
Spring Rains bring summer waterfalls to Arkansas.
But THIS one is definitely at the top of the list!
Summer Beach fun

When I was young RED was my favorite color. Red Coat. Red Cowboy Boots
But when I was older it changed to BLUE. Blue Shoes. Blue Coat. Blue car.
Now, I am older still and RED is back.

We spend most of our time looking around. Looking up. Maybe we should LOOK DOWN at the beauty beneath our feet.

When we travel we don’t visit big cities. We don’t even hit the typical tourist traps. What we like to visit are the little towns with their one street, their unique buildings, their small churches. These make up the real America. And that is what we visit. Places that are full of character, history, and Vintage Architecture
Places like
Canton, Mississippi
Where part of “Oh, Brother Where Art Thou” was filmed.
The Plantation Homes
of Natchez
Windsor Ruins
and its cast iron column tops.
The simple Pueblos of Chaco Canyon
and
Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico
